Mahara Hui NZ 2017: Dates and CfP

We are excited to announce that the third Mahara Hui NZ, New Zealand's conference for the open source ePortfolio system Mahara, will take place in April 2017. 5 April 2017 will be a pre-hui day with workshops and a hackfest style. 6 and 7 April 2017 are the conference days.

Mahara is a widely used ePortfolio system around the world, and also in particular New Zealand and Australia. School and tertiary students, teachers and lecturers, assessors for professional organisations and many more make use of Mahara on a daily basis.

Mahara Hui NZ is your opportunity to share your knowledge and experience. The call for presentation and workshop proposals is open until 30 November 2016. Please read the proposal information to learn more about the conference themes.

Mahara Hui NZ 2017 is organized by the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CfLAT) at AUT University as well as Catalyst IT, the Mahara project maintainer.

Hello,

The end of the Call for Proposals for Mahara Hui in Auckland next year is coming close. You have until 30 November 2016 to put forward one or more proposals for a session.

If you are in the process of starting a new project or just have a vague idea of what you would like to present, let us know in the proposal format. We do not need a full-fledged abstract at this stage and you can refine it later on.

Hello,

Thank you very much to everyone who's already submitted a proposal for Mahara Hui 2017. We will be in touch with you shortly.

If you have not yet submitted your proposal, you can do so until 27 January 2017. We extended the proposal deadline so you can put on your thinking hat after a little break over the summer holidays.

Don't miss out on submitting your proposal. We will be reviewing proposals from now on roughly every other week to give you quick feedback and accept proposals so you don't have to wait until the beginning of February.
