What is the Mahara Hui hackfest?
The hackfest is a informal gathering to learn more about the software development, make contributions to future enhancements and getting more involved in the Mahara community. Participants of the hackfest do not have to have programming skills. There are many other ways of contributing to the software that can be explored. Possible activities at the hackfest are:
- work on new features
- brainstorm feature enhancements
- learn how to test new features in Mahara
- get started with translating Mahara into other languages
- and others
The hackfest is an additional day to the 2-day conference and will be held at Catalyst IT. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops, but Catalyst can also provide a limited number of computers.
